Meet Your Tutor

Hi! I’m Vanessa, founder and sole tutor at Sofia Literacy.

For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children in a variety of educational settings, including traditional, classical, Montessori, private, and public schools. My goal is simple: to ignite a love of reading and learning in every child I work with.

Throughout my career, I’ve been a teacher, curriculum developer, school founder, and more. But my approach is always the same: I believe in providing personalized, patient support that meets each child where they are.

I’m here to guide your child as they develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed academically and in life.
